There's No Place Like Home

Well, we're finally home. We got back from Colorado last Tuesday, so about a week ago. It was a bitter sweet goodbye, leaving the baby and coming back to "real life". I am so happy to be home, though...and sleeping in my bed once again. Sunday at church some friends told me that I looked like I was glowing. I hadn't been to church for four weeks, and it was nice to see all of the people I love so much again.

Jack and Baby Maddy. He loves her sooooo much. Isn't that CUTE!! Here we are eating at the very first Chipotle Mexican Grill (aka: mom's favorite place).
This is a vintage costume/halloween store on the way to the hospital my aunt was at.Here is Julia, Logan and, Luke at the park we were at with this MASSIVE water fountain the kids played in. TOO MUCH FUN!!!
My dad took our picture in front of Hard Rock Cafe in Downtown Denver.
Later that day we went to REI (Recreational Equipment Inc.) Where the kids climed a 47' rock wall (I was too scared...shhh, don't tell).
REI was practically on the banks of the Platte River...so BEAUTIFUL!!
On our last Sunday there we went to Carter Lake (and got lost on the way). While we were waiting for my uncle to pick us up at the dock, my mom spotted this amazing...CAR!!! Yes folks, I did say car. You don't see many of these do you? I know that there is a water car club out here in California, but I have never seen one until now.
Here is Mr. Jack signing off and saying "Drive carefully, or you too could end up like this deer".

P.S- Could you tell the one big difference between this Jack and the Jack in the first picture?

Colorado For a Month

Hi everyone, I know I haven't updated my blog lately, that is because I am in Colorado. We'll be here for a whole month...30 DAYS!!! I am starting to miss California a little. It's mostly my family, friends, church/youth group, and my bed... Yes, I miss my bed. I have been sleeping on a couch for the past week, it's a comfortable couch...but I still miss my bed. I am so thankful for my cell phone and free nights and weekends. Every night my friend Sara and I chat about everything and nothing at the same time...we are very talented. She keeps me updated on all the happenings back home. THANK YOU SARA!!! >3 >3 >3 (blowing kisses)
Here in Colorado we go to see my aunt in the hospital about three times a week. There is a rec. center right down the street from the house, so we go swimming there twice a week, and we're always going to WalMart, so we are keeping ourselves busy. We are hoping to go to downtown Denver, and the Denver Mint this week, so that will be fun. Well, that's what I'm doing for now. I'll have some pictures of our trip posted when I return. Love to you all!!
