Weight Overload

OK, so this "10 Pound Race" thing's not going so good for me. It was at first, but now I'm slacking, and it's showing!!! *LOOK OF HORROR* I try, but fail...All The Time. WHY!!! I think I fail because I forget to remember that my body isn't invincible and I have to put the good things in, and not the bad. The Bible says that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and I don't want this temple to be littered with junk food. I also need to find a better exercise routine...still, it's been like two months in the process. My brother's is hopefully coming home around the holidays, and it'll be over a year since I've seen him, so there's some motivation. He's this awesome, super buff Spec-Ops guy, and I hope that I don't look like a TWINKIE when I see him in December. So all that being said, I'm going to try again no sugar, and exercising (I exercise now, but maybe it's not enough) , and also eating only "real'' things, nothing processed, as much as possible. Prayers are always helpful, and comments too.

Hey Jocelyn,
It was great having your family over the other night! I love your family. Thanks for changing your plans to hang with us. Hope to see you at Kaleo soon!

BTW: You look great just the way you are :-)

Hey Jocelyn; I love your heart...you are sooooo precious and absolutely beautiful! Although it's always good to exercise and eat right (I'm preaching to the choir here since I am not a great example) remember that outward beauty - the beauty the world esteems is only for a fleeting moment...but godliness, inward beauty leaves a lasting impression on the hearts of those that spend time with you.

The Limon's love you the way you are!

Remember I was telling you I have not been eating sugar and preservatives I was encouraged by a book I found. It talks about how bad sugar and preservative are for our bodies. If you want to borrow it you can. Also, if you remove preservatives and sugar you can really eat all you want other wise. the one thing you don't want to do is starve yourself that is actually very bad for you. It really messes up your metabolism as you get older. I can vouch for that. That is how I use to lose weight when I was your age and now that I am an adult two things have happened I didn't know the right way to lose weight and it really messed up my metabolism. I sure feel better since I've been of the junk. Through this journey i've been learning it is more important to feed our body with healthy things instead of worrying about our size. But the weight does come off as we are careful what we put in us. As I was reading your blog Romans 7 came to mind.

I will bring the book to church tomorrow incase you want to borrow it.

Love,
Mrs. M
